About Aware

The Seven Pillars of our Mission

Access: all individuals have an inalienable right to the full spectrum of health care administered through qualified providers in a variety of safe, secure environments.

Legal: access to the full spectrum of health care should be founded in law.

Inalienable:  the availability of the full spectrum of health care through qualified providers and safe health care services cannot be taken away or denied.

Multicultural: all individuals have the right to make and implement informed, lawful decisions related to their health care based on their ethnic/cultural/religious beliefs.

Equity: recognition that all individuals have the right, status, and opportunity for equitable access to appropriate health care.

Education: unbiased research-based information should be the foundation of health policy and integral to the process of drafting, advocating, and implementing new legislation.

Advocacy:  we support individuals or groups who work to influence the introduction, enactment, or modification of legislation that addresses issues regarding health care policy for life-decision events.
